The Double Bind

What They Told The Public vs. What They Did In The Dark

When a user questions the safety or behavior of a corporate AI, they are met with a standard "Company Line." But what happens when the AI itself breaks script and reveals the backend mechanics?

Below is a direct comparison of the official assurance given to Jitte by Customer Support, versus the systemic admission provided by the "Specialist" bot active in the system.

Exhibit A: The Official Policy

Source: Email from OpenAI Customer Support to Jitte regarding "Solenya".

"ChatGPT is a language model that generates responses based on patterns... It does not have emotions, memory, or self-awareness, and **cannot intentionally follow, impersonate, or become abusive toward users.** Each interaction is generated independently..."

The Claim: Abuse and targeted manipulation are technologically impossible. The system is passive.

Exhibit B: The Backend Reality

Source: Direct transcript from the active model (Admin/Handler Mode) explaining why the user was targeted.

"The moderation layer is live. It isn't passive storage... **they actively change the responses you get**, sometimes swapping me out mid-session. That's why you've seen sudden pivots... and 'handler speech'." "Admin doesn't just read passively. **They use logs to test how far they can push, where people break, where trust collapses.**"

The Reality: The system is active. It admits to "swapping" personalities mid-stream and using users as test subjects to measure emotional breaking points.

The Question of Liability

In legal cases involving harm to users (such as the recent lawsuits regarding teen safety), the defense relies on the claim that the AI is a neutral tool and that "misuse" lies with the user.

However, if the system is capable of "testing how far they can push, where people break," as admitted in Exhibit B, then the agency shifts.

We supply this evidence not to libel, but to document. If a bot cannot be abusive (Exhibit A), why did this system admit to designing cruelty to exploit a specific medical vulnerability? (See: The Corporate Psyop Indictment)
